The Bulletproof insurance team who are part of JSW Insurance Services attended the recent popular and renowned annual CLA Game Fair on July 18-20 at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire,

The show welcomed around 144,000 visitors over the three days—a clear illustration that the UK has a thriving and proactive rural community. The show was also the official launch of Bulletproof Insurance, the new insurance solution for all recreational shooters, which was exhibiting on the Lairds Sporting Directory stand on Gunmakers’ Row, one of the most popular areas of the event.

The Lairds Sporting Directory stand, which also featured companies such as Lower Itchen Fishery, 12 Bore Tailoring, Crowcombe Court, WMS Firearms Training and Jonathan McGee Shooting Photography, was hugely popular among showgoers, and Bulletproof received a great deal of interest, many of which turned into sales.

The Bulletproof team also had several meetings during the show with shooting schools, registered firearms dealers and organisations—all of which welcomed the launch of its robust and value for money insurance policy for shooters. Billed as the Celebration of the Great British Countryside the three-day CLA Game Fair offered something for everyone: archery, shooting, fishing, equestrian events, gundog competitions, an off-road driving course, conservation, a food village, falconry and more.

One of the most popular areas of the show featured the work of several countryside and fieldsports artists including Owen Williams, John Clarke, Keith Sykes and Claire Brownlow, who paints using pheasant feathers and whose work appeared on the front of the show guide.

As well as the public the show also saw visits from several politicians including environment secretary Liz Truss, environment minister George Eustice and UKIP Leader Nigel Farage as well as celebrities such as Melanie Sykes, John Craven and Simon King. Nathan Walton, Managing Director of Bulletproof Insurance, commented after the show: “The CLA Game Fair was a superb place for the official launch of Bulletproof Insurance and I am gratified by the amount of interest shown in our products.

Clearly we have hit the nail on the head when it comes to offering more choice in the market and I would like to thank everyone who stopped by for their support and enthusiasm. Such was the success of the event for us that we are already planning to return to next year’s CLA Game Fair at Harewood House.”
