JSW are proud to support local charities

We encourage our employees to get involved in their local communities, through volunteering or fundraising for local initiatives. A large number of local charities benefit from these activities. We have a number of different charity events through the year and all our staff thoroughly enjoy helping the local community.

Think Pink

Female staff from JSW Insurance attended a special ladies lunch organised by washroom product provider B-Hygienic. The ‘Think Pink’ event was designed to raise awareness about women’s cancers as well as the possible screenings, treatments and support groups that are currently available.

National Hereditary Breast Cancer Helpline

Attendees enjoyed a lovely three course meal and champagne reception at the stylish Potters Club Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent. This was then followed by inspiring speeches, which included details of personal experiences, from Wendy Watson & Michelle L Gracey from the National Hereditary Breast Cancer Helpline.

“A big thank you from us to B-Hygienic, The National Hereditary Cancer Helpline & Potters Bar for a brilliant day!”

Operation Christmas

Christmas 2015 some of our team participated in Operation Christmas.  The team all filled a shoe box with gifts and small presents which were sent to children who won’t be receiving any presents.

Christmas is the time for giving and we were all very proud of the team for donating so generously.

Christmas Jumper Day

In aid of Text Santa, we took part in Christmas Jumper Day. Our team wore their best jumpers to work and donated a £2. The money raised went forwards supporting a number of different charities.

At JSW our branches raised £24. However as we are a part of The County Group, together we were able to raise £210.
